Here\u2019s how you can go about it:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pick up the IP address for the server from which you intend to establish the remote connection. <a href=\"http:\/\/whatismyipaddress.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/whatismyipaddress.com\/<\/a>should help you find this IP address.<\/li>\n<li>Login to your account on cPanel, look for \u2018Databases\u2019, and then \u2018Remote MySQL\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-700\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8265.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1025\" height=\"215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8265.png 1025w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8265-300x63.png 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8265-768x161.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1025px) 100vw, 1025px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Clicking on it will bring you to a new page with a \u2018Host\u2019 field where you can enter the IP address (or host name) we identified in the beginning, and add it by selecting \u2018Add Host\u2019.
