If you are using Google Workspace (or previously known as GSuite) for your emails, this article should help: <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/140034?hl=en\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/140034?hl=en<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This tutorial below, however, is provided for those that need a step-by-step guide on how to apply Google custom MX records on their cPanel area.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your cPanel dashboard and type in Zone Editor on the top right search bar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-873\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8308.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8308.png 1440w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8308-300x94.png 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8308-1024x322.png 1024w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8308-768x242.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Once the Zone Editor opens, find the domain that you wish to install the Google MX record to. Then click on Manage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-874\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8309.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"842\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8309.jpeg 842w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8309-300x159.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8309-768x406.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>You will then see the list of all of your DNS records. In this case, go ahead and filter the records by clicking the MX tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-875\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8310.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"842\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8310.jpeg 842w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8310-300x158.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8310-768x405.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>You can edit the existing MX record to be the first Google MX record and set the value as ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM, as shown on the screenshot below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-876\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8311.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"842\" height=\"439\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8311.jpeg 842w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8311-300x156.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8311-768x400.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Next you can add 4 more MX records and assign each of them to ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 5), ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 5), ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 10), ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 10). The name field should remain your domain name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-877\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8312.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8312.jpeg 840w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8312-300x159.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8312-768x406.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>This should be the final look of your MX records in your cPanel Zone Editor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-878\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8313.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8313.jpeg 840w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8313-300x159.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8313-768x406.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Once the MX records are sorted, you now need to make sure that all emails for your domain will be redirected to an external server instead of the local server. So type in \u201cEmail Routing\u201d on the top right search bar and click on the option shown.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-879\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8314.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"164\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8314.jpeg 840w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8314-300x59.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8314-768x150.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>Next select the correct domain on the drop down menu and then make sure to set the Remote Mail Exchanger and click the Change button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-880\" src=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8315.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"842\" height=\"441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8315.jpeg 842w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8315-300x157.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/zalvis.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG_8315-768x402.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><br \/>\nNormally, you will then be able to send and receive emails from your Google Workspace account in the next 6 hours or so.
